Nurse Managed Clinic
In 2014 St. Vincent’s celebrated 60 years of providing comprehensive social services and community outreach programs to the Galveston community. Established in 1954 by the leaders of the St. Augustine of Hippo Parish, St. Vincent’s has grown into the largest and most diverse community service organization serving the underprivileged working poor in the Galveston area.
The UTMB School of Nursing Nurse Managed Clinic improves community well-being and provides hope through respect quality health services and education. The focus for patient care are those with chronic medical conditions so as to provide primary care for routine lab monitoring, episodic care, and prescription medications required for the management of their conditions. The patients are either uninsured or underinsured, making routine health care financially difficult.
Hours of operation are Monday through Friday 8 am to 3:30 pm.
