Welcome to The St Vincent’s Clinics Orientation Modules!
Prior to visiting any of the St. Vincent’s Clinics, it is mandatory for everybody to complete the required trainings. These training modules will guide you on accessing Epic, Teams, the clinic’s website, and other essential resources. Currently, volunteer opportunities are exclusively open to UTMB students, staff, residents, and faculty members. Non-clinical volunteers must first register through the UTMB Volunteering Services before participating.

Steps to Volunteering at St. Vincent’s Clinics
Complete the five steps below to receive Epic access, attend orientation, sign up for clinic shifts, and transition from a new volunteer to an experienced volunteer.
Attend the Monthly Virtual Orientation
Virtual orientation is held at 6:00 PM on the first Wednesday of every month. Use the Microsoft Teams information below to join.

Sign Up to Volunteer on Sched
After completing the required onboarding and training, use Sched to view available opportunities and claim a volunteer ticket.
Please allow up to one week: It may take up to seven
days after completing training for a New Volunteer ticket to become
available on Sched.
Become an Experienced Volunteer
After completing your three required new-volunteer shifts, submit the experienced-volunteer form.

Contact the appropriate Student Clinic committee based on the type of assistance you need.
